Dr. Alia wanted a soft, spa-like, welcoming vibe with a strong feminine presence while still appering professional and modern. I incorporated her love of florals to create a contained, custom, hero slideshow with an abstract peony "wallpaper" background inspired by thescottresort.com. My goal was to make the visitors to her site feel like they were personally cared for, so we included a doctor promise section in a handwritten font next to her family photo instead of clinical facts. The header is clean and easy to navigate, but the title verbiage reflects the warm, relaxing nature of her practice.
I worked closely with the design team for visual continuity, the developers for subttle, calming interactions, and the production artists to ensure the practice-specific pages highlighted her custom photos.

Chvatal Orthodontics
The doctor had very clear ideas about creating a site that felt as if the visitor was going on a journey to dental health. He povided an abundance of assests - including professional patient headshots, a custom video, and marketing materials. Editing was key to the site's sucess and using as much of the provided content as possible. I personally cut down and edited over 2 min. of video footage to the resulting 23 seconds on the homepage. By designing the callouts to look like postcards, the site to feels like a fun, sporty adventure.
Communication with the developers was very important so that all the animations and effects that the client specifically wanted was understood and executed with thought and care.

Palatine Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. S. has a quirky, playful, and open personality that I wanted to reflect in his new website. Inspired by the subtle retro characteristics of his old site, I expanded it to a more cohesive theme and played up his defining mustache to some of the stock photos. I re-created his caricature logo by hand to create a more simplistic, modern version without losing the spirit of the original. I softened the colors and rounded out the shapes to relax the viewer for a whimsical exploration of the site.
I took visual cues from the design team to modernize their entire aesthetic using colors and shapes. I leaned on the creativity of our developers to push the envelope on interactions and annimations.
